14. The DOS Virus Museum

phreak.fm maintains a historical archive of MS-DOS-era computer viruses at /museum. The archive is strictly educational and contains no executable virus code, no malware binaries, and no downloadable payloads. All content consists of historical documentation, still images, animated image captures, short video clips of virus execution sourced from public educational archives, technical writeups, and cultural commentary. We do not distribute active malware. We do not accept submissions of active malware. We do not encourage the creation or deployment of malware. The archive preserves a significant chapter of computing history in the same spirit as the Internet Archive Malware Museum, which we cite extensively as a primary source.
